Items of recent interest:

The Invisible Library is going to be translated into Russian and Romanian. (I'm not exactly sure when, but ... this is so cool.)

I was at the Harrogate Spring Quilt Show yesterday, and besides spending too much money on other things, had a lovely time chatting with a woman who had a stall full of Japanese kimono and yukata fabrics - silks, cottons, wools, blends, all of it on the roll. While buying some silk from her, I admitted that I'd been buying some used kimono on ebay and dismantling them for the outer silk. She agreed that this was an excellent idea. I was unduly pleased by this - it's nice to be told by an expert that your personal recycling/silk-obtaining project is an excellent idea.

The weather is apparently about to get colder. So says the weather forecast. I don't always trust weather forecasts, but it seems fairly definite. Back to scarf and gloves.

The good news which I mentioned to some people earlier is coming - I just can't talk about it till it's formally out. But soon. Hopefully this week.
