We didn't have any torrential downpours of rain today, though a couple of times I thought we might be going to. We had those peculiar cloud formations, pulpy masses of dark grey, haloed by a burning white that was almost painful to look at because of the sun behind, and the sky clear blue in the background. Gorgeous but ominous.
Got my first payslip in new job today. While the pay doesn't actually come through till the 25th, it was definitely reassuring. Picked up a couple of tracks on iTunes to celebrate.
