incandescensQuite a busy day; bought new bus pass (don't laugh, it's easy to forget and the place closes at 3.30pm on Saturdays), booked haircut (trim, I insist, trim, merely to remove some split ends, I am not going to let them make any significant reduction), got a new pair of shoes, picked up a pack of the Pirates of the Spanish Main ship cards, which I admit are rather neat . . .
. . . oh, and I got a copy of the new Pratchett, Going Postal.
It's not one of his Best Ever, but it is certainly very good.
I would quote something from it, but I passed it to my mother after finishing it myself, and I'd rather not try to get it off her until she's finished it. It'd be cruel.
