incandescensBusy but useful day. Work has started to come back in. Jetlag also arrived. Coffee is a marvellous thing.
Started in on that GetBackers idea, and feel greatly heartened by how it's going. Must now research various arcane thingies. You know how it is. One moment you're looking up stuff on the net, and the next thing you know, you're scribbling down "Hanging Gardens?!" and "Ishtar journey -- but sister parallel?" and then trying to remember what the hell you meant by it a week later. Must also reread Michael Scott Rohan's Chase The Morning, which is one of his best books, in my opinion.
Mother's off to have dinner out at work-related do tomorrow. Hm. Will take advantage of this and make father chicken stirfry with oyster sauce -- we have some broccoli and some spring onions and mushrooms in the fridge. Yes, that'll do nicely.
