and on arriving home
Jan. 8th, 2005 12:18 amWork wasn't too bad, but the real pleasures of the day came on arriving home.
a) Mother back from health farm, much rejuvenated and much perkier, brandishing food chart and talking about future diet plans for entire family, or at least everyone eating a bit healthier. Have pointed out that stirfries are fairly healthy, and are comparatively easy to remove carbohydrate component from by removing rice.
b) Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories for GBA has arrived. Whee! Whee, I say! (For those people who are surprised by my enthusiasm, let me explain -- it ain't out here in the UK yet. Insert diatribe about practices of releasing games at different times on different sides of Atlantic, salt to taste.)
c) Parcel of books from amazon has arrived. Well, that's my weekend sorted.
Hm. Must get case for iPod, as handbag is growing so overstuffed that iPod has bad habit of managing to turn itself on and then waste all its charge. This should not be too hard, one hopes.
Hands still smell of beef and teriyaki sauce. Must go and wash them again.
The wind outside is being very noisy. It was quite impressive when I was waiting for the bus on the way home, blowing my ponytail up and down and back and forth and fluffing out the rest of my hair all over the place, till I had to stand facing directly into it in self-defence. Huge great billows of cool wind, like water or silk, washing round me. It doesn't sound as if it's got any milder.

Demiurge says "I honestly don't see why some readers find it so hard to believe he can be impeccably polite _and_ a psychopathic killer."
Liriel says "That's because you're English."
Liriel ;P
Demiurge laughs.
Demiurge says "Flatterer. ;)"
