Positives:

Meeting went well.
Minute-taking went acceptably.
Received confirmation that estate agent has received my deposit towards holding the flat for me, future developments contingent on checking my references.
Got some pay from White Wolf for some work I'd done.
Picked up a couple of secondhand Chelsea Quinn Yarbro novels, which are . . . an occasional taste of mine.
Got human on other end of phone re nonexistent internet who agreed that my net had been turned off, said I needed to talk to her boss, took my work phone number (yes, I was illegally phoning from work, tch tch) and said they'd call me back.

Negatives:

Still no net.
Still not called back.

So-so-itives:

Have begun Clearout. All videos given to father to donate to some local charity shop (so shortly some science fiction or Hong Kong movie fan should be made happy). Begun emptying leverarches of old writing/logs/etc (it's all on the computer still, after all) to make room on shelves for books I want to take with me. Combination of delightful freedom, nostalgia, and the sniffles.

(12K done, Beth.)

Would I be correct in guessing that a leverarche is a shelving unit of some sort?

Lever Arch File. Unit of holding bucket loads of paper.

The one I linked to are the narrow ones, 50mm. A quick perusal shows 75 and 80 mm also as common sizes.

Ah. Like a three-ring binder, only with two rings. Do you put the papers in horizontally or vertically (ie with the rings at the top or at the side)?
