Why is the second day back at work always more tiring than the first one?

(Okay, stupid question.)

The weather forecast promises sleet. I'm torn. A bit of artistic light sleet would be quite attractive, and in many ways more interesting than the current heavy slate sky, but a lot of wet sleet would be extremely annoying. Particularly if I have to do much walking in it.

Sleet is never a good thing. I'm finding the third day back terribly tiring but then I also get a long weekend right after so... ha ha ^^; (I'll regret this the next bank holiday you get, I know).

Yeah, and you'll make me cry, and then you'll regret having three days off in a row, wontcha?? (Ha - being evil, it'll just make you laugh more, I bet =P)

I'm starting to think that the level of evilness is already of an equivalent. (starting to think, HA)

...I guess it's "be evil" or "depend on a roll of the d20s", and being evil is probably more reliable =P

They are! In which attempt I counter your evil with a bribe of One Piece Color Walk 3: LION (which I had a chance to thumb through today, but won't be able to send until Tuesday ^_-).

The absolute highlight of my holidays, and I am so sorry for not mentioning it!! Am in love with Rose! (and the Doctor isn't all that bad, either =D) I thank you immensely ^_____^

I know how you dealers work, the first hit's always free =P But seriously -- once I get the kinks worked out with the bank account/CC etc. (it's getting there, sort of like mating elephants), I can send you funds via PayPal or other means, for future DVDs (I certainly don't expect 'em for nothing!). Thank you!!

Aha, so it wasn't just me! I think it's because the first day, one is fresh off vacation; the second day, one is too busy catching up to bother being tired; and the third day is the day everything hits. ;_;

::waha:: I hadn't -- I'd only seen up to Tinka retrieving Agatha from the prison, but I just now went and peeked. "Do tell! That's very nice!" I think I have some crazy relatives I talk to like that =D Poor Agatha...

Especially since she has the ability to zap people ^^ But... when we saw her, wasn't she physically hooked up to a power source? It seemed that way to me (the tube-y things behind her seemed to lead to some grand machine-thing) -- if that's so, it may be that she's less of a threat than she could be if she were internally powered as the actual Muses are. Which may be why her brother doesn't seem too afraid of her, even after she fried papa.

I wonder how long she could keep functioning without the power source, though? She was built partly from parts taken from Tinka, which is why Tinka doesn't work so well, so I imagine that she doesn't necessarily work perfectly, either (though obviously her voicebox works a little better ^^); as bright a Spark as baby brother might be, methinks he's not as good as Agatha.

(I mean, duh, obviously, he's not, I'm just thinking "out loud" ^_-)

If only one of which pair? I'm all for disassembling mad-sister Anevka and ensuring that T-t-tinka is fixed. In fact, I would be absolutely and utterly thrilled to see all nine of the Muses back together. What I want to see right now, though, is Moxana's view of what's going on. She gave van Rijn's notes to Agatha -- I think for a reason. Storm King descendent or not, guilt over what he's done to Tinka or not, I don't entirely trust Tarvek's motives. I don't believe that Tinka went entirely without provocation to the circus to bring Moxana back; Tinka's malfunctioning and half the time can't remember whether she's supposed to be dancing or asking for maintenance or what. On top of that, neither Tinka (who wasn't there) nor Moxana (who doesn't move on her own) would have known where Agatha kept the van Rijn notes; so I suspect that something nasty has happened and that all involved are mad enough/malfunctioning enough/mute enough that the whole story isn't going to come out right away. I think Moxana and Tarvek are the only ones who know what really happened to get Moxana and the van Rijn notes into Tarvek's hands; and Tarvek comes from a loony family so who knows what version of it is going on in his Sparky little head.

That's entirely possible. Which is why I want to see Moxana's response -- she and Tinka are the only Muses we've seen so far, and Moxana is the only one who's functioning properly. Tinka can't think properly (I just remember her showing up at dinner and so pathetically offering to dance) and so could be convinced of something more easily than she might otherwise be; but if Moxana responds to Tarvek as the Storm King, I'll keep my mouth shut about it. ^__^
