the heat, the rain, the car alarm

Up to about 25K/34K on current project, which is a good thing, as I've just signed up for something else. I must be mad. Mad mad mad maddity mad mad. (And of course I now want to work on my own stuff, fanfic, etc. It always happens. I can just feel the wrong sort of inspiration blossoming)
How irritating. The sudden burst of rain outside (which I was very pleased about) seems to have set off a car alarm, which is now going wee wee wee all the way home. Hopefully it'll turn itself off soon.
I'm probably misquoting the Pratchett/Gaiman (I'm sure all you eddicated folk out there recognised an attempt to quote Good Omens), but I'm rather pleased with how things look to be going.
While we don't know exactly what the deal is with Orihime, it does look as if Aizen's got what he wants, which I suspect is a way to open the Hougyoukou fully. So much for the "we have at least another couple of months before he can act". So much for the sitting back of some characters and vigorous-but-not-unduly-desperate training of others.
The storm may hit at any moment. This should be good.
(Well, you know, for certain values of good.)
And I see that Luppi has survived. I pity poor Hitsugaya at the hands of future doujinshi writers.
We have more players on
touchedthesky. Excellent.

There is a motionless tree
There is a motionless tree
there is another that moves forward
a river of trees
pounds at my chest
The green swell
of good fortune
You are dressed in red
you are
the seal of the burning year
carnal firebrand
star of fruit
I eat the sun in you
The hour rests
on a chasm of clarities
The birds are a handful of shadows
their beaks build the night
their wings sustain the day
Rooted at the light's peak
between stability and vertigo
you are
the diaphanous balance.
