May. 29th, 2002 01:48 amAnd it's one for the morning glory,
Two for the early dew,
Three for a man who will stand his ground,
And four for the love of you.
I feel the need to reread this one again. (One for the Morning Glory, by John Barnes.)
After I finish (a) Nobilis, and (b) my collected MR James, I guess. Oh, and maybe Freedom And Necessity by Bull and Brust. And . . .

Date: 2002-05-29 01:17 am (UTC)hi!
Date: 2002-05-29 08:26 am (UTC)I've got One for the Morning Glory on my reading pile, too (though it's one I've never read before), mostly because it's borrowed and I'm moving in a couple of months and should really really return all borrowed things before I pack stuff up. But there's library books to go through (Daughter of Venice, by Donna Jo Napoli, who I adore, and the third Princess Diaries book (addictive mind-candy train-wreck stuff)) and several other borrowed books, and another, er, 35 episodes of Highlander. ^_^;; Nothing like enough time!
Y'know, I've still got Heresy cards to send you--do you still need/want them
Re: hi!
Date: 2002-05-29 01:38 pm (UTC)Hm, Heresy cards -- I'm missing 9 or so. I wouldn't mind getting _those_, but there's not much point if they're ones I've already got, so you'd do better to save the postage.
I'm currently working on a book about shoujo themes in rpgs, and am far too otaku for my own good . . .
Take care!

Re: hi!
Date: 2002-06-20 04:10 pm (UTC)I haven't seen any Saiyuki, but it's one of those things I'm quite curious about, and will have to check out at some point. I like the art, I know that much already!
