If you've seen Angelic Layer (a current obsession) then you know what I mean. I want a cute little doll to fight other cute little dolls in anime arena combat. Such healthy innocent sports would doubtless do wonders for my temperament.

In other news, it's Friday. YES. YES YES YES.

Also, England beat Argentina. Go us! Not that I'm a desperate fan, but, well, one does want one's country to win, or at least, not to lose humiliatingly. Saint Beckham's face will doubtless be plastered all over tomorrow's tabloids.

Lovely box of presents from Beth today. Very cool. Also got Kushiel's Chosen by Jacqueline Carey from Amazon. Excellent. Time for some more reading about tattoos, anguisettes, and dubious romances and sexual masochism. In between Freedom and Necessity by Brust and Bull, Tam Lin by Pamela Dean, and my Angelic Layer manga.

If only I didn't get these crossover urges . . .
