checking the week ahead

Dentist on Thursday. Checkup. Hygienist too. While I don't have any concrete reasons to feel unhappy, I defy anyone to go to the dentist in an optimistic way.

I'm not depressed. Perhaps a little melancholy, though not in a bad way. It's the weather, I think. That, and the oncoming dentist.

Only thing worse is *doctor*. (Which, unfortunately, I have to make an appointment for sometime soon. *cry* )

No, just annoying, and definitely unpleasant (one word: gyno.) What really irks me is that they're making me do this because It's Standard and they probably won't consider my particular situation: celibate and likely will be for life (I've never even *had* sex fercryin'outloud - TMI, sorry). Yet unless I go through with this (which I can't even hardly afford cost-wise) they won't give me a refill for my medicine that regulates my messed-up cycle so that it comes when it's supposed to and I don't wind up bleeding the Pacific (again, sorry for the TMI) for like 2 weeks straight as I was doing prior to last year. Grrrrrr.

I hate going to doctors even under the best of circumstances; having one poke at areas I'd just as soon as not think about makes me twitchy in a Not-Good way. X_x
