I'd rather like to see Clive Barker's Transformers

Back to work today, and feeling somewhat better, or at least not ill enough to call in sick. It was a Friday. Fridays are always a grind.

Was watching the news this evening while sewing the binding onto my quilt. Well, listening to the news. I am convinced that the BBC showed prolonged footage of an American press conference about Egypt so that the government over here wouldn't have to issue any non-statements themselves. Either that, or they just wanted to make anything look good in comparison.

Suzie and I moved away from the counter and went to sit in the chairs provided and read the nice magazines. I settled down with the Nightside edition of Empire, and read what Kim Newman had to say about the latest films: Butch Cassidy and the Cthulhu Kid, Clive Barker's Transformers, and the rediscovered Orson Welles classic, his Batman movie, Citizen Wayne. Sometimes it's nice to sit back, put your feet up, and enjoy a little light reading. Suzie had Which Magazine: Weapons of Mass Destruction, A Consumer's Guide.

Wow, Clive Barker's Transformers would very likely have been worth sitting through--unlike the version we got in this world... >:( (I can't complain too terrible much--I saw it on a long airplane flight, so its only real function was chewing gum for the eyes anyway.)
