It is just possible that spending a couple of hours in the early evening after work focusing on getting this new quilt done is detrimental to being able to write in the late evening.

But the quilt is nearly done. I've just got to finish stitching the binding around the back. Go me.

I like the tag to Swinburne. I assume the last line reads as "say it again, I dare you"? I feel like it's not quite working in the slang of my area.

Given that the original "Dolores" poem was 250 lines long or so, I take it more as "I'm not going to be able to stop you going on and on and on and on and on . . ."
