incandescensThe problem with having a sewing/other project go well is that you think you'll just do a little more with it while it's going so well, and the next thing you know, you're rubbing your eyes and trying to work out where the evening went, and being surprised that you feel tired.
Ow.
The first Eurovision semifinal was not particularly impressive. Most of the songs were pleasant enough, but nothing really interested me enough to vote. It also seems to be Nostalgia Central, with at least half the entrants having apparently borrowed their outfits from Grease, hippiedom, folk, or all three.
My aunt's in the vicinity, and will be meeting up with me for lunch on Thursday. I must give my boss a preparatory sweet-talk to explain why I'll be taking a long lunch.
