theorising
May. 27th, 2011 01:12 amAs I was saying to a coworker today: if we're going to have gloomy weather all May, then it might at least rain a bit more. As it is, we're both gloomy and heading for a summer water shortage, which seems to be getting the worst of both worlds.
My wire-wrapping is improving. Made a couple of bracelets which I don't think are too bad: will take them into work tomorrow for some second opinions. (I'm a bit handicapped here because I don't generally like wearing bracelets. They get in the way. It makes it hard for me to have a real artistic appreciation for them in themselves. Also, I may have put one link too many in the labradorite-garnet-haematite ones. Must check.
Had a curious passing idea re Bleach, which I'm putting down here for reference.
So Rukia was sentenced to execution. While most sensible people thought it too severe a sentence (often far too severe), nobody thought that it wasn't a crime, or at least a misdemeanour. It is Bad and Wrong for shinigami to give their powers to humans. This argues to me that it has happened before.
The Fullbring have interacted with shinigami before: whether or not they're telling the truth about their current desires and reasons for interaction with Ichigo, clearly interaction of some sort has taken place.
Is previous shinigami-Fullbring interaction one of the reasons that power transference from shinigami to human is considered such a serious crime?
Just a thought.

Sleeping on a Summer Day
The sour taste of strawberries lingers in my mouth and teeth;
The pa-chiao tree shares its green with my window curtain.
Waking from a nap on a long day, I feel listless.
The hours are consumed in watching children catch willow blossoms.
