incandescensWork being hectic, but deadline for commissioning period has been extended. Phew.
Made oyako donburi for supper. They turned out quite nicely, though (a) I made too much of the chicken part of the dish, due to having more chicken than was strictly required, and having some shiitake mushrooms which I thought would go with it nicely, and (b) my mother didn't like it, and left it after a few bites (and profuse apologies), filling up on marmite and toast instead. I think she disliked the shiitake mushrooms, or the sweet/savoury flavour mix, or both. Oh well. My father and I both enjoyed it. I'll just have to make sure that I only do that dish when she's not around.
Finished next chapter of Bad Wisdom, which is moving better now.
Am currently on a Mylene Farmer kick; her music's been exactly what I want for the last few evenings. Perhaps it's the temperature, as the music itself is cool and fluid, like water for bamboos, or a lake for cranes.

Thank you for the chills, and for more of the fic. Saiyuuki fandom is lucky to have a writer such as you; am always waiting with anticipation for the next installment. ^_^
