Parents sent present and also phoned. Many people at work said happy birthday. Cakes got eaten. Many friends online sent birthday wishes.
Also, there were a couple of glasses of wine with supper, which may account for the grammar of this entry.
(I have the song Die Puppen (The Dolls) on iTunes, and am now again pondering a crossover between Criminal Minds and Sapphire and Steel involving a small town, a serial killer investigation, and a set of dolls which can manipulate reality and bring doom on the area when they are played with. I have no idea what the story is, and I should probably watch a lot more Criminal Minds if I ever do want to try to write it. Not that that would be too painful...)
Have put my name down for a craft fair/sale thing at the back of the local pub in mid-October, before I go on holiday. Panic is now setting in.
