it's so difficult to choose frames

Moderately busy today. Had eye test and, alas, need new glasses (though this was not entirely a surprise). They should be ready in 7-10 days, so at least I'll have them by the time I go to Prague. Also did some shopping, gave blood, and managed a metre or so of quilt-binding. How will I cope with this mad whirl of life?

Still playing the Devil Survivor 2 game in spare moments. Lost a potential party member, but fortunately some can be lost without dooming you to the very worst ending. (He fell down some stairs. It's a long story.) Will be FAQ-hunting soon enough, I can see.

Last time I made my husband take pictures of me in the frames with his camera. It actually helped.

They actually have a setup at the opticians now (at least, the one I go to) where they take photos of you in the various sample frames you want to try, then show you the images on the computer screen. Not necessarily very flattering pictures, but it does give you an idea of whether the frames are decent on you or not.
