As usual, my to-read pile has a split personality: a new Shadowrun sourcebook lies next to Quilts of the Oregon Trail.

The weather's cooled a bit and we've been having rain. I could live without the rain, but the cooler temperature is appreciated.

Just one more day, then a four-day weekend.

I can't believe that not only is another month gone, but nearly half of the entire year has already flown by. Time just keep accelerating on me - it's rather frightening.

I envy you the cool weather. It's been scorching here, and humid, as well. Typical summer in my state.

I know what you mean. The more time flies by, and the less I seem to have accomplished in it...

I'm sure it will be hot enough here again quite soon. And of course, at the moment everyone is now complaining about the coolness, having been complaining about the heat a few days ago. Ah, humanity.
