still sunny, still sewing

The weather continues to be beautiful, and should also be nice tomorrow, which should be good for the end of the Olympics. The weather forecast on the television is warning us to expect rain next week. I have no problem with that. The weather has been good for the majority of the time when it was absolutely necessary that it be good, and that's the important thing.

(Expect me to start complaining next week once the heavens open and I am personally inconvenienced.)

Started a new quilt project. I am currently at the stage of omnipotent control, otherwise known as the bit where I'm cutting out squares and triangles of fabric. The dreadful realisation of reality comes probably tomorrow when I start sewing them together. There's probably something very symbolic here.

Right then. If someone reading your most recent set of quotation tags were to snap, where should they start, reading Wodehouse?

(coughs) Sorry. :) I'd recommend one or more of the Jeeves books. Either an omnibus, if one happens to be floating by, or just any that happen to be near. I'm afraid this isn't much help, but I can't really think of any that are really special or suited to new readers. Though equally, I can't think of any that are noticeably bad, either.
