Got very little done this evening. Am braindead. Was apparently looking fairly awful at work, too, though I managed to make it through the day. I think that was where my brain went, as I cannot find it now.

Will just note down for reference that after seeing a lot of Pierre Cardin 60s stuff on the OMGthatdress site, I now have a sudden urge to write a character in a thigh-high dress and thigh-high PVC boots.

Just in case I forget.

I always feel a bit guilty when calling in sick. But the fact that two other coworkers have already had a day off due to illness this week (one of whom had the very thing that I think I've got) makes me feel less guilty.

Incidentally, may I ask if there are any particular colours you like? For no particular reason (she said unconvincingly).

The burgundy end of the spectrum mostly, but anything between pink and purple is to my liking. I tend to avoid yellows and oranges by themselves or with each other; but yellow and orange are fine with brown. If that helps.

Also are you interested in Frieda Kahlo? The Art Gallery is having a showing of her this month but one must book a time slot, and as the AGO is closed on Mondays, rot them, it would mean braving the crowds on a weekend.

I don't really know much about Frieda Kahlo beyond what I've just looked up online. I would be curious to see more, but not if it's going to be a lot of hassle for us.
