a protoplasmal primordial atomic globule
Oct. 8th, 2012 02:25 amOh well, back to work tomorrow. Feeling better. It's been a good weekend, though I'd have enjoyed it more if I'd had fewer headaches.
Enjoyed myself earlier today listening to a DVD of a production of La Belle Helene starring Felicity Lott, while doing some sewing/ironing. I say "listening to" rather than "watching" because most of the time my attention was on the fabric rather than on the television screen. This is why I do not generally watch subtitled anime while sewing/ironing, unless I'm on the hand-sewing stage of binding a quilt and sitting in front of the television. On the other hand, it's amazing how Gilbert and Sullivan can make ironing go faster and be less annoying.
---
I am, in point of fact, a particularly haughty and exclusive person, of pre-Adamite ancestral descent. You will understand this when I tell you that I can trace my ancestry back to a protoplasmal primordial atomic globule. Consequently, my family pride is something inconceivable. I can’t help it. I was born sneering.

Date: 2012-10-08 08:34 am (UTC)In work at the moment: no headache (yet, touch wood) but general discussion with coworkers on the progress of The Bug suggests that the routine is:
a) feeling awful
->
b) sniff and cough and sore throat
I am currently sniffing, and my throat is feeling rough. Still, it's better than feeling awful.
(And with any luck it will be over before my visit to you.)
