classics and classic actors
Dec. 3rd, 2012 01:50 amWhile doing my ironing/pinning/sewing this afternoon, I went questing through the television channels to find something that would make good background listening.
I ended up with the Corman movie of The Masque of the Red Death. The one with Vincent Price.
Ahhh.
I wonder how many recent movies would sound that good. Or have actors as good as Vincent Price.
(In case you're wondering, it was a cute little baby quilt in blue flannel that was being ironed/pinned/sewed.)
---
Scarlatti: Sire, at least spare my wife. I give her to you to do what you please.
Prospero: I've already had that doubtful pleasure.
