The weather forecaster promises blazing sunshine this weekend. I'm not so desperate for the heat, but a bit of sun would be nice.

Have slipped slightly on planned writing schedule, but on the other hand, I think I have managed to mostly fill a plot hole, so I will not panic too much. Besides, nearly the weekend.

Will now go and read more about Venice. Isn't the phrase "black inquisitors" wonderful?

Better to slow and fill a plot hole now, than to lose a wheel and have to rip up whole sections of the street later!
