Trying to launch myself into the next chapter of Lion and the Unicorn, but my boosters seem to be sputtering a bit. Still, I can gloat just a little about how I got the white bread, brown bread, and plum pudding into the last chapter.

Weekend. Thank heavens. I'm tired.

I remember, when talking to Remiel at Minamicon, we came to the conclusion that once you hit the "hard stuff" in anime/manga, you keep on needing it. That is, once you hit the seriously painful/angstful/complex/dark stuff, it gives you a taste that is hard to satisfy any other way.

But I suppose you could say as much about some branch of any genre, if you looked hard enough.

Did Yaone-fic. Feel good about that, at least.

Remiel as in the incredibly cool Ro?

Not sure. The Remiel I'm thinking of is very into darker shoujo stuff, and has recently been into Mirage of Blaze. I've run into him twice at the local anime convention, Minamicon. He also likes Angel Sanctuary, but was disappointed by the ending.
