rereading Asterix
May. 16th, 2014 02:59 amI will join the mob using harsh language about changes to lj's format. If this were an Asterix book, it would be the sort of speech bubble full of strongly bolded symbols.
(One of my coworkers keeps on referring to "dagger and asterix" rather than "dagger and asterisk" when talking about "dagger and asterisk coding", which refers to a certain aspect of ICD-10 clinical coding. It is a personal irritation. And a stupid one, like most personal irritations. But I still wish she wouldn't do it.)
... also, I should remember more often that beef does not need to be marinated for a couple of hours before a stirfry if I feel the urge for beef teriyaki. Cutting it up and putting it to marinade ten minutes beforehand may not be quite as good, but it is still extremely tasty.
