Some quite impressive rain outside earlier, but fortunately I was inside for all of it.

Failed to get fish and chips (takeaway) from the local pub round the corner earlier this evening, as they were catering a wedding. (At least, I think that's what the guy behind the bar said.) Had a perfectly good supper otherwise, but part of me still lusts for fish and chips.

York tomorrow. And new arch supports. Hopefully this will help my knees.

Th desire for fish and chips, like the desire for poutine (trust me on this), is a very specific one. Nothing will do but the thing itself. And worse if it's a specific shop's fish and chips, or a specific version of poutine.

I see no reason why KFC can't provide its excellent poutine in the US. Probably think it won't sell, the cowards.

To be fair, the innermost layer of wrapping is plain paper. The outer ones are newspaper. :)
