I had to make a run to the post office at lunch today (sold a necklace on etsy! whee!) and bought a box of Krispy Kreme donuts for the rest of the office on my way back. As I put it, you were either eating the donuts to celebrate the World Cup, or you were eating the donuts to cope with other people celebrating the World Cup.

A donut for all seasons.

An all-purpose donut. Mmm... it's odd to think of Krispy Kreme in England. *laughs* It feels so Southern to me, but then I guess they're all over the country here...

You get their branches showing up here and there, or sometimes just a cabinet of their stuff in major supermarkets. In this case, they have a cabinet of stuff in one of the local Tesco supermarkets.

If you ever get the chance to go to Canada (if you haven't been already), try Tim Horton's. They're at least as good as Krispy Kremes (and probably not quite as rich - I like KK's donuts but some of them are a little TOO good, heh heh.)
