Tour de France preparations
Jun. 22nd, 2014 02:38 amSuccumbed to rampant commercialism today. There is a Tour de France shop in town. (This is because the Tour is going to be passing through Leeds on its way through Yorkshire.) I bought a couple of Tour mugs (indistinguishable from regular black or white china mugs save for the Tour logo on the side) and a teatowel. They will be going down to my parents as presents next time I visit.
(I will not, however, be trying to watch the Tour as it goes through Leeds. I am not that much of an enthusiast.)
Knee is being and feeling much better, which is a great relief.
Got a new quilt pinned up this evening before supper, and it is now ready for the stitch-layers-together stage. I suppose part of it is that I need the little endorphin boost that comes from completing something. Anything.
