pleasant surprises

incandescensMeeting today went rather well and moved along briskly, and while we all came out of it with a fair amount of work, none of it was that bad or that antithetical to our personal desires, and everyone had something to do.
Meeting on Thursday will not be as much fun, given it's scheduled from 11am to 4pm (though with a half-hour lunch break), and a lot of it will be discussing stuff which is not relevant to my work but which I must nevertheless pay attention to. Time to scribble in the margins.
