I twitch at every new trailer and every fragment of information about the upcoming season 4 of Korra. Sad, I know. Roll on Friday. It's just that season 3 was very good. I hope season 4 can live up to everyone's expectations.

Haven't been watching much television otherwise - mostly bits of Masterchef, or classic Doctor Who, or the news, while sewing or pinning or cooking or whatever. My gaze seems to be much more riveted to my computer. At least for the next few days, when I get round to sewing the binding on the quilt I'm currently working on, I'll be pinned down in front of the television and will have to sit there and watch something or die of boredom. (While I do enjoy my sewing, or at least enjoy the final end product, whipstitching several metres of binding is in itself really rather dull.) Time to bring out some of those reserved-for-a-good-moment DVDs and get round to watching them.

Also vaguely pondering indulging my curiosity. For a while now I've been curious about Halloween haunted houses, scare parks, whatnot. There's one near York, which will be open on the 18th October, and I'd been planning to go to York that day anyhow, and they include a bus from by York railway station to get there, which would make the question of travel comparatively easy. Hm...

Kostchei looked at her, his eyes liquid ice, and Irene found herself stuttering to a halt and closing her mouth. He had more presence in that glare than some Fae lords she’d faced down. She struggled with a reflex to cringe back into her seat and twist her hands in her lap nervously. She didn’t even try to look towards Coppelia. It wasn’t psychic powers as some people would have described them. It was simply Alpha Teacher, channelled with a side order of extra ice and public humiliation, and it worked far too well.

Not a fan of haunted houses myself, mainly because a lot of these places rely on darkness as part of their material and I'm not a fan of stumbling around in the dark (much less getting suddenly startled/spooked in it). I even sleep with a flashlight close at hand for when I wake up needing a drink of water or something.

Hope it goes well, whatever the outcome. :)

Korra! Korra! *dances about* I do hope it's good.

And, yes, I spend much of my time in front of the TV with my knitting... and I am happy that I found the last of the yarn for the sunflower. *laughs*
