time running out
Nov. 5th, 2014 12:14 amSigh. Time is starting to run out on my holiday. Just three days (and a half) left.
It's been lovely. I have been beautifully lazy, I have hung out with friends, I have been playing computer games with them (well, the DS Professor Layton / Phoenix Wright one), watching stuff with them (Ace Attorney live-action movie, Kuroshitsuji live-action movie, the Stardust Crusaders arc of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, and a whole lot of Takarazuka), going shopping with them, and generally hanging out.
Hanging out includes making rude comments at what we're watching, of course, which is why we're currently discussing a Jojo's Bizarre Adventure / My Little Pony crossover, but that is a horse of a different colour.
Beth's birthday tomorrow. Since I know she'll be reading this lj entry, I won't mention what I've got for her, except to hope that she'll like it. (Ha ha.)
The weather has definitely turned colder than it was at the beginning of the holiday. We had a scattering of snow - well, very rainy snow - on Saturday, and it marked a change for the colder. Even though things have still been reasonably sunny, or at least had sunny moments, winter is coming.
And it's two months and ten days till my book comes out. Getting increasingly difficult not to think about it. But I'm sure that when I get back to work on Monday, I will have plenty of other things to occupy my mind.
