bead aftercare
Feb. 15th, 2015 03:12 amSpent part of the evening restringing a necklace which I made for a coworker... hm, it must be over a year ago by now. Rather nice faceted onyx beads. She admits it's one of her favourite necklaces and she wears it all the time. Unfortunately the wire next to one of the clasps broke, but at least it was on the other side of the crimp which holds the beads in place, so there weren't any problems with beads getting lost. I don't mind providing a bit of aftercare. All part of the service.
Things to do tomorrow: lay out and pin a quilt which has been waiting for attention while I worked on Frozen ones. Things to listen to while I do it: my recording of the Takarazuka 10th anniversary production of Elisabeth with Shizuki Asato singing Death. Yes, I am biased and have my favourites, but she has such a splendid voice. Totally worth the money and expense I went to in getting my hands on it.
