I was looking at fabric on spoonflower.com again. It's probably a very good thing that the postage cost is prohibitive and they don't have a UK branch, or I'd be constantly buying interesting designs.

(eyes own fabric stash guiltily) Even if I already have enough to last me till doomsday. But that's the thing about stashing. It's never enough.

I have both a yarn stash and a fabric stash and it would take me a very long time to go through it all. Currently, both stashes are in 60L plastic totes. The fabric one can barely close and while the yarn one is closed, I have more yarn piled on top of it that can't fit inside.

I haven't felt like knitting in a while so I'm not using any of that stash up and the fabric is used for doll clothes. While some of my dolls are large (68cm), quite a few are in the 45cm range and I have a herd of dolls under 30cm. With that being the case, it takes a while to put any kind of significant dent in the fabric stash.

When my mom was alive, she had a real passion for knitting and crocheting. When she passed, my dad and I had to get rid of a gallon fiber drum full of yarn and supplies. I never knew she had so much in reserve!

But I can't complain... I'm a packrat myself, especially when it comes to books.
