Given the Oscars, I am now trying to imagine what my characters would wear if, for some reason, they were having to attend the ceremony. (Probably in order to steal a book, but who'd bring a book to the Oscars?)

(Well, besides me, as I'd want something to read.)

Kai - perfect evening wear.
Silver - raffishly perfect evening wear with an entourage of ladies.
Irene - adequate evening wear guaranteed not to take her near the cameras.
Vale - elegant evening wear, unless masquerading as someone backstage, a technician, or something.
Bradamant - gorgeous evening wear, looking so fantastic that Irene gets jealous in spite of the fact that she deliberately dressed to be modest.
Zayanna - barely anything at all, darling, but definitely involving high heels.
Ao Shun - dragon kings do not attend the Oscars.

I have seen Zayanna's dress just recently on someone's FL: body-clinging net, strategic applique. Would rather not see it again.

Is it my fault if my characters have dubious tastes in clothing? (Interesting question...)

I'm sure Irene's dress would be very neat and fit beautifully, however. Even if it was a boring shade of brown...

I'd love to see Bradamant's dress.

I usually imagine her as dressed by Erte.
