Saw Minority Report. Wow. Distinctly impressive. (Even if I can think of two points before the end where it could have been truncated to give a movie that I would have preferred, but eh.) Also, my father and mother really enjoyed it, which is good, as it was technically my father's birthday treat. :)

I'm still nibbling from the large bag of Minstrels that I had to eat during it. Evil chocolate, evil evil chocolate.

I really look forward to grilling Beth about fencing sabers.

Ah well. Fingers crossed that Ambercon UK goes well. And pre-shopping in London. And seeing Jo tomorrow evening. And everything else. Optimistique-moi.

I really must be the only person in the entire universe who didn't like Minority Report. I was entertained, but I just couldn't get into it, didn't like it at all. Actively groaned during at least a couple of scenes, thinking, "Wow, this is bad." Maybe it's just that I couldn't bring myself to care about what happened to Tom Cruise, I dunno.

Makes me more reticent about seeing Sum of All Fears and The Bourne Identity, though, as two other action-oriented summer blockbusters. Maybe I'll stick with trying to get to Lilo and Stitch, which I've heard is worth it
