work day, quiet day

Not one of those days when I've got much to note in a lj entry. More one of those days when I'm revising the copy-edits of book one and trying to remember why I ever thought it was a good idea to write it in the first place. (Yes, I know, I'm whining.)

I must confess, I am surprised they are doing that much in the way of editing fuss when it's already been so well-received in the UK. I almost wonder if you should check with your agent/UK editor and ask what the contract says about acceptable amounts of editorial changes.

I may be making heavier weather of it than I should - I have a nasty feeling I have an oncoming cold, and work's been finicky.

Still surprised. Trust your instincts on some of it, I'd say, and double-check what the contract allows. And don't be afraid to STET! O:>
