incandescens | a fiery forge

Okay. I now have an "universal modulator" to plug my dvd player and my video recorder" into, plus a new multiple-socket thing, and in consequence that corner of the room is looking much tidier. However, I haven't yet figured out where to find the dvd signal on my tv channel settings. Time to ask a favour from a friend at work, I think. (I'm not discouraged. I'm much happier about the situation than I was yesterday.)

Pre-Christmas event tomorrow; mutual pizza lunch with other coders, and Secret Santa whatnot. Must remember to bring along stack of cards and take occasion to hand them around.

(I'm not feeling bitter; just a little apocalyptic.)
