catching up
Sep. 3rd, 2018 01:19 amThat was quite a busy August. There was the Nine Worlds convention, and a holiday with my parents, and just yesterday it was the Great Northern Quilt Show at Harrogate - which to be honest isn't that big, but it's big enough to be very enjoyable.
(adds more fabric to stash)
The weather's sliding towards cooler, thank goodness, but it's still quite humid. I look forward to it reaching the stage when a lightweight long-sleeved top is appropriate, but not quite jacket-level. I need to work on a quilt for a surprise present for a pregnant friend at work - preferably before the birth happens.
Book six struggles onwards. I'd like to get the first draft finished and have it ready for editing before I go off on holiday to Florence, mid-October: then I can work on edits when I get back, and hopefully bounce it round to any beta-readers before turning it in. We'll see.
