procrastination is such fun

incandescens. . . though it is also a very naughty thing.
I should be trying to write, not sitting here and frivolling.
Parents have called from Athens to say that all is well. Apparently it's incredibly hot there, which is a mixed blessing.
I was moderately domestic: watered the garden, watered the greenhouse, got the towels washed and hung out to dry. Oh, my virtue astounds me. Left the ironing for later, which will probably be something that I shall regret. (Should that be will regret or shall regret? Will would imply actual choice in the matter, but then I made the choice when I chose to leave the ironing for later. Shall would imply stern necessity and machineries of fate. The Noble of Ironing? Hrm.)
I then watched the last few episodes of Angelic Layer. And even with appalling HK subtitles in double-translated English, even with what we all know is going to happen, it being that kind of story, even with all that . . . it still hits you in a painful place. You watch it, and you think, yes, that is genuine pain we're seeing. You watch the crowd cheering (I won't spoil for why) and you find yourself muttering, "Get up, Hikaru!" (Okay, so that spoils to a degree.)
And I still want my own Angel.
Oh, I've emailed you the latest Saiyuki ficlet, April. :)
