I maunder, you meander, she needs a gag

At this rate I'm actually going to have to rely on the local library for research material for Dark Ages stuff. Oh the pain, oh the horror. (Okay, that's exaggeration; I do use the library normally, and for research material, whether that means Thai guidebooks or English history.)
Have been reading some of Barker's Tekumel stuff, and now wish that GOO would move a bit faster on their promised reprint of his Empire of the Petal Throne game. I do realise that there are probably perfectly good reasons for why it's not out yet -- just as there are with GURPS Vorkosigan, dammit -- but I'm currently admiring the drifts of glittering prose and exotic interest.
Currently stacking the collected works of Patricia Keneally-Morrison (or Kennealy-Morrison, I forget) to donate to charity. From secondhand bookshops they came; to secondhand bookshops they shall return. Few authors have done more to put me off pseudo-Celticism.
