watch out for the disinfectants
Apr. 16th, 2006 02:51 amI had froodle round for supper and TV/DVD-watching, and among other things, we did indeed watch the first episode of the new season of Doctor Who.
Possible flaws included one huge scientific impossibility and one slightly implausible character change, but hell with that, I was enjoying it all the way through. Oh yes. Oh yes.
(For those who are wondering: no, Captain Jack has not yet returned. Nor has Torchwood started, alas.)
And the new Doctor loses his temper very nicely indeed.
---
The Master: Behold! Once again I have been augmented by superior Dalek technology, rejuvenating my physical form and granting me even more power over the cosmos.
The Doctor: And, I notice, breasts.
The Master: They're not breasts, okay? They're Dalek bumps. They can detect ion-charged emissions and operate as synthetic beam locators at a distance of up to twenty thousand light years. They're also extremely firm.
