unexpected books

Just for the record: stepping into the bookshop at lunch (while on the way to buy a new hard drive) and finding that they had Garth Nix's Superior Saturday and Diana Wynne Jones' House of Many Ways both out early (release date in the UK is July 1st) does improve the day.

It does have some way to go before making the day a really good one (cross your fingers that we will be able to get my computer working this evening) but it does improve the day.

And yes, I am already two chapters into Superior Saturday.
