Oct. 15th, 2013 02:25 amWoke up to hear water rattling against my window. Had a few moments of depression, annoyance, and "must take umbrella to work with me" before realising that it was actually the window cleaners at work. While it did rain at a couple of other points today, I was safely indoors for both of them. So no problem there. Well, not for me, anyhow.
Must pick up ticket, buy dollars, organise presents, schedule laundry timetable, scrub out bathroom and kitchen, hoover, finish sewing binding on quilt which is going with me, do some more brioche stitch practice in knitting, write more, etcetera.

Up to 93.5K words on first draft of second Library book, The Masked Auction. Still got dramatic action scenes and climax to go, but on the whole not too displeased. Now just have to cope with panicked uncertainty and doubt. Protagonists are all soaking wet. Fortunately there is not enough time left in the book for them to catch colds.
