Just finished sewing a muff for the daughter of a friend of a friend. It's come out quite large, as in "entirely plausible that you could fit a paperback in there, and possibly a hardback too", so I hope it's what's wanted. If not, we try again and make it smaller...

Fingers crossed that my team leader has recovered from illness and is back at work tomorrow. I need her comments on a number of things. That sounds very cold-blooded, and I do hope she's better in general... but I also need her comments on a number of things.

Managing to stave off Lenten hunger pangs by nibbling on satsumas and bananas as well as oranges. So far so good. More or less. I'm dreaming wistfully of banana cakes.
