Just finished sewing a muff for the daughter of a friend of a friend. It's come out quite large, as in "entirely plausible that you could fit a paperback in there, and possibly a hardback too", so I hope it's what's wanted. If not, we try again and make it smaller...

Fingers crossed that my team leader has recovered from illness and is back at work tomorrow. I need her comments on a number of things. That sounds very cold-blooded, and I do hope she's better in general... but I also need her comments on a number of things.

Managing to stave off Lenten hunger pangs by nibbling on satsumas and bananas as well as oranges. So far so good. More or less. I'm dreaming wistfully of banana cakes.

I would think being able to fit a couple of books in the muff would be a distinct advantage. :D (Books! Books are our friends!)

Or, depending on age of recipient, a cell phone. Maybe those things should come with interior pockets...

An interior cell phone pocket would actually make a lot of sense, these days.

The general feeling at work is that the muff would suit Bigfoot, but might be inappropriate for someone with smaller hands. Time for some reworking...
