Since several people on my friends list have this up . . .

What anime/manga character do I most remind you of, and why? If you can't choose just one, feel free to put two or three. Then, post this in your journal and see what people say about you!

Good point, there.

I'm dithering between thirding that, or mentioning Kanzeon Bosatsu.

I'm inclined to mention hir too, and wondering is it just your icon. A little more sedate than Kanzeon, IMHO, but otherwise a close mapping.

She's not an anime character, and only sort of qualifies as a manga character, but Vashti Imperia/Spell Syren from PS 238.

Because you just strike me as being clever enough to use magic the way she does, if you were a trained sorceror. :)

With the caveat that I only know Hellsing from the Random Potluck Information Method (namely, listening to other people talk about it and reading the occasional character profile and things, plus this one good Hellsing-fic critique site), what I know of Integra... works. I'm not sure if I'd've come up with it on my own, but it works oddly well when I think about it now.

second the motion on...

Kanzeon...you are serious but have a wicked, witty streak. I love it.

No, it is the sense of the polished, of the traditional, and the sense of wisdom that Oriya always seem to leave. Though I swear Oriya is a pop-culture nut in denial, but let's not go there, 'cos I can be highly delusional ^^;;;

I would say Kanzeon with a dash of Tatsumi's politeness. Both have the ability of kicking ass, with Kanzeon correctly pointing out the irony of the situation, and Tatsumi saying it in a less rough tone. :)

Definitely Kanzeon! (and admittedly I don't know you too terribly well, but still well enough to have an opinion.)

It's a testimony to your roleplay that when I think of "character" and you, Tarot comes to mind, and will always. But as she's not from anime or manga, but instead from your fertile mind ... I'm going to veer from the obvious and say Ageha, from Basara. Why? His attention to detail (he *is* Miss Kicho), his style, his intelligence and wit (though not for his artistic skills ^_^). The way he is more than he seems ... and dashing, in his own wonderful Ageha way.

(I would be tempted to choose Kanzeon except that I don't know Saiyuuki all that well, and I think it would be because of the icon!)

For you I choose Nico Robin of One Piece fame: one of the few sensible female characters in pop shounen manga, well-read and articulate, and with a clear eye on where she's going in life (at least for the short term!).

She is extremely cool -- and yes, AllSunday and Robin are one and the same, "AllSunday" being her Baroque Works codename -- you won't be disappointed by her in coming chapters.

I would perhaps give Oda credit for being aware of the Avengers, except that he admits that he has to go through fashion catalogues to know what clothing girls might possibly wear, as he otherwise has no idea (though Miss Doublefinger's choice of outfits does make me wonder ^^). Which makes me wish he'd do the same for his male characters, so that Sanji would never have to wear plaid pants again.

Alas, poor Sanji. Cover of the first One Piece "Color Walk" book, compiling all the colour illustrations from the first dozen or so manga -- Zoro's worse-dressed, as usual, but we expect that from Zoro. Sanji's wearing a pair of horrible plaid cropped trousers. >_< The sad thing is that I've seen this sort of thing on boys in Tokyo. It doesn't look any better on them.

Aww, you don't like Sanji's fashion sense? XD

...well, okay, maybe it does leave a thing or two to be desired. :)

An appropriate icon =D

I love Sanji in a shirt and tie, and best in his suit; I am a sucker for a guy in a double-breasted suit, especially when he looks good in it. Some of the one-shot art has him in horrible, horrible clothing, and I will never get over that nasty Hawaii-shirt-capri-pants thing he did throughout Sky Pier. He's supposed to be stylish. It says so in his bio in Red. What's up with that, I ask you? ^^

Would definitely second Nico Robin of One Piece. In addition to the reasons already given, it seems like if something's worthwhile, you've got a hand in it! ;^)
