new enthusiasms

incandescensIt is intensely annoying to have found a new and interesting manga (One Piece, yes) and not to have anyone on hand to rant to about it. Ah well. At least I have it. Not that I'm giving up any of my previous interests, either -- always room for more in there. Plenty more.
Three weeks now in the new job, and actually starting in on queries next week, though I'll be crosschecking them with the others for a long time yet. Am still of the opinion that it's an extremely cool job, if not quite so babblingly so as earlier. Slight worry in that the NHSIA (parent organisation/employer) and several similar organisations are being amalgamated and there will be jobs lost, but clinical coding is such a hotspot in all the future government plans that I'm not too worried about our section. Besides, they already knew that this was starting when they gave permission to hire me and the other two new coding officers; ergo, they don't plan to drop us too soon.
