Hm. I think I'm suffering from two evenings that were if not wildly energetic, at least had less downtime than usual. So I napped earlier. Very nice.
Tactics Ogre sounds a worthwhile game for the GBA. The fact that it's not yet released here in the UK is minor, when we have the mighty Amazon and Ebay to rely upon. (Really, really must finish Onimusha Tactics.)
Am slowly getting used to the feeling of a heavy watch on my left wrist. I didn't think it'd be so different, or so strange. My previous watch was quite lightweight, small, with a thin leather strap. This new one is a big (well, medium) stainless steel thing with a double-chain strap. My mother cheered me up earlier by saying that she'd had the same problem when she shifted to a heavier watch, so it's not just me.

The Man In The Golden Mask
[...]
But as the swordsman steadily advanced
Upon his seated foe, it somehow chanced
Porthos's boot came off with violence
And quite escaped his grasp, to tumble hence
And catch his bold companion in the face.
His nose began to bleed. He slacked his pace.
"Doctor, a thousand pardons!" Porthos said.
"Let me return your care after my health;
We must now keep your feet above your head,
Lest you should swoon, and haply bruise yourself."
He reached out, unconcerned, and firmly grasped
The swordsman by the ankle; then he clasped
The sword -- "You'll hurt yourself!" -- and quite upended
The man, and held him flailing and suspended.
"Again your pardon, sir! I'd no intent
To knock your pate upon the floor like that;
This beastly gout does leave a fellow spent
Of his good powers. Let me find your hat
To cushion you against such fearful shocking.
Don't struggle so! Wouldst bleed upon my stocking?"
When Josserand heard nothing in reply
From his first henchman, he decided, "I
Was wrong to trust a solitary man;
Men unobserved turn coward, if they can.
These two look sturdy. I'll dispatch the pair,
Their wage for my blue ribbon's only fair."
