Nov. 29th, 2004 01:09 amRemembered images from my trip to America; in San Francisco airport, heading from the plane to the arrivals lounge, passing a woman in her late fifties or early sixties. She was the medium wiry type, with short silver hair cut close to her head, in a red anorak/coat of some sort, and -- no, it wasn't jeans, it was trousers of some sort, I think beige but I'm not sure.
She was carrying a book in one hand, a bag across her back.
When I got close enough to read the book's cover, I saw that it was a Battletech (science fiction rpg) novel.
Moral of the story; you never know.
I now have Christmas carols playing in the background. Yes. Definitely worth waiting for.
